We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Catalog Manager to join our Marketplace team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our product catalog, ensuring that all product information and images are accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing. The Catalog Manager will play a crucial role in creating new SKUs, updating existing ones, and leading the roadmap of catalog features.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and Update SKUs:

  • Develop and manage new product listings, including product descriptions, specifications, and images.
  • Regularly review and update product listings to ensure information is current, accurate, and optimized for search and sales performance.
  • Ensure all product information is complete and visually appealing.
  • Refresh product images and content to maintain a high standard of visual appeal and relevance.
  • Monitor and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the catalog.
  • Collaborate with Acquisition and Business Development teams to gather necessary product information and assets if needed.

Catalog Feature Development (Roadmap):

  • Lead the roadmap for catalog features, focusing on product pages improvement.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to the catalog management system (PIM) to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate new features and tools.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular audits of the product catalog to ensure consistency and quality across all listings.
  • Develop and maintain guidelines and standards for product listings to ensure uniformity and professionalism.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to support product launches and promotions.
  • Provide training and support to team members on catalog management best practices and tools.

Reporting and OKRs:

  • Develop and maintain reports to track catalog performance and ensure key objectives and results (OKRs) are met.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on catalog metrics and progress towards goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in catalog management, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using catalog management systems and e-commerce platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of beauty and personal care products is a plus.

Languages:

  • Native German
  • Good English skills
