Challenge

You won't just process payroll; you will own end-to-end Dutch payroll operations. You will maintain clean Workday data, handle CAO (CLA) compliance, manage time and contract inputs, and coordinate handovers with Finance, People Operations, and external partners. Additionally, you will drive process automation, build documentation, and support junior colleagues to continuously elevate the team's quality standards.

At DocMorris, we help make health management accessible with just one click. Behind that mission is a payroll operation people can trust. You will own Dutch payroll, making sure our employees are paid correctly, on time, and fully compliant.

Drive end-to-end Dutch payroll processing to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely monthly payouts.
Collaborate transparently with People Ops, Finance, and external partners to resolve complex cases efficiently.
Maintain data integrity in Workday while managing time tracking, contracts, variable pay, and absences.
Support monthly/annual financial reconciliations, tax audits, and social security reporting.
Spearhead process optimisations, structural controls, and automation initiatives to minimise cycle times and eliminate errors.
Guide and support junior colleagues in an empathetic, consensus-driven environment.

Strenghts

Solid hands-on experience (3+ years) managing Dutch payroll in an in-house, outsourced, or hybrid environment.
Strong mastery of Dutch labour legislation and practical experience with Collective Labour Agreements (CAO).
Exceptional precision, strong analytical skills, and a proactive ownership mindset.
Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial reconciliations).
Professional fluency in English; functional knowledge of Dutch or German is beneficial.

Nice to have

Hands-on proficiency with Workday or modern HRIS payroll modules.
Experience with process optimisation, automation, or audit controls.
Exposure to multi-country payroll coordination or Employer of Record (EoR) setups.
