E-commerce design is about removing barriers between what people need and how they get it. Across Europe, those barriers and shopping behaviours look fundamentally different in every market. You will step into a high-impact, six-month project to shape the core platforms for PromoFarma by DocMorris, ensuring our user experience feels native, intuitive, and frictionless across Germany, Spain, France, and Portugal.
If you know how to balance localised user expectations with global business goals and thrive on delivering measurable value under tight timelines, you will make an immediate impact here.
Your Ownership & Impact
- Multi-Market Execution: Drive the end-to-end design process. From wireframes and user flows to high-fidelity prototypes for complex e-commerce features, tailored to four distinct European markets.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Synthesise behavioural data and market research to pinpoint the root causes of friction in regional shopping and checkout funnels, aligning the team on the highest-value problems.
- Rapid Delivery: Apply the 80/20 principle to focus your effort where it creates the maximum impact. You will structure design iterations to fit tight release schedules and proactively clear cross-team dependencies.
- Business Outcome Focus: Connect your design choices directly to measurable e-commerce metrics, including conversion rates, average order value, and user retention, making informed trade-offs based on regional insights.
- Scalable Systems: Utilise and expand our global Design System, ensuring localised features remain visually consistent and technically scalable across all geographies.
- Lightweight Validation: Lead agile research initiatives to test user assumptions, ensuring your solutions resonate culturally and functionally before engineering begins development.
Who You Are
- Targeted Experience: A Mid-Senior Product Designer with a proven track record of solving complex usability challenges within e-commerce or large-scale transactional platforms.
- Strategic Adaptability: You easily navigate ambiguity and transition into new environments, bringing the advanced design craft necessary to generate immediate value.
- Language Fluency: A good level of English is required to collaborate effectively across our international teams. Additional fluency in Spanish and/or German is a strong plus.
- Trusted Collaborator: You know how to build quick credibility with Product, Engineering, and Regional Marketing partners, actively influencing priorities to support cross-border outcomes.
- Clear Communicator: You excel at distilling complex localisation concepts and design decisions into clear, actionable narratives for distributed teams.
