At our modern logistics hub in Heerlen, you will maintain, repair, and optimize our conveyor and material handling systems – ensuring the dependable dispatch of medications and healthcare products.
Your Responsibilities – Full of Technical Variety- Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems as well as mechatronic and electro-pneumatic equipment
- Professionally install mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
- Detect technical faults early and resolve them independently
- Collaborate with external contractors on new installations and upgrades
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement
- Read technical drawings and wiring diagrams as easily as the daily weather report
What You Bring to the Role
- Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician (m/f/d), or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience, ideally in maintenance within a logistics or automated warehouse environment
- Comfortable working at heights (no fear of climbing / working on elevated conveyor platforms)
- Working knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) is an asset
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and a structured way of working
- Good German and English skills – Dutch is a plus
- Flexibility and willingness to work in a 2-shift model (early and late shifts) as well as occasional weekend shifts (maximum twice a month, Saturday or Sunday)
