Does your leadership style focus just as much on people as it does on processes? We are looking for a Team Leader Outbound to lead our international team in Heerlen toward top results. Mission & Impact

As our Team Leader, you are the essential link between your colleagues, management, and the success of our supply chain. Located right on the border between Heerlen and Aachen, you will ensure that our life-saving medicines reach the customer through a perfectly coordinated outbound flow. You will be responsible for a cost-effective operation where the customer always comes first.

The Challenge

You will lead a close-knit team of 25 employees in an environment with complex processes. This team consists of go-getters who need a resilient leader—someone who stands firm and does not shy away from difficult conversations or incidents. Because the work involves heavy equipment in a high-bay warehouse, ensuring safety is your absolute top priority.

Your Responsibilities
  • Operational Direction: Drive the team based on qualitative and quantitative KPIs to guarantee a cost-effective, customer-centric operation within a safe, 5S, and GDP-compliant environment.

  • Leadership: Take ownership of the full employee lifecycle, from structured onboarding and training to daily on-the-floor coaching.

  • Administrative Excellence: Manage staff scheduling, absence management, and performance reviews, ensuring key positions are always filled.

  • Process Optimization: Proactively identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and align cross-departmental matters with the Inbound and Quality departments.

  • Information Provision: Ensure all employees have the right tools and information to perform their work according to strict regulatory guidelines.

Job Requirements
  • Experience: Professional and intellectual level of MBO/HBO (vocational/higher professional education) and at least 5 years of leadership experience in a dynamic logistics environment.

  • Languages: Excellent command of English is essential for business communication; fluency in Dutch and/or German is also required.

  • Mindset: A hands-on leader who leads by example, is flexible, stress-resistant, and supports company decisions.

  • Systems: Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (such as SAP).

  • Availability: Willingness to work in shifts (morning shift: 06:00 - 14:30 | evening shift: 14:30 - 23:00). Every month you work one full weekend in the morning shift, and one Sunday afternoon shift.

Our Offer
  • Salary: A market-competitive salary between € 3,300 and € 4,000 gross per month, based on experience.

  • Allowances: A shift allowance of 20% after 20:00 and a 100% Sunday allowance.

  • Travel Expenses: A commuting allowance of € 0.19 per kilometer.
