We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead Workday HRIS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the Workday team, ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of Workday solutions, driving continuous improvement in HR processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, customer centricity and innovation within the team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage the Workday team, providing guidance, act as primary point of contact for Workday related topics and support in priority setting to ensure team goals are met. 

  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Workday modules, including HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Leave of Absence, Time tracking and Performance. 

  • Collaborate cross—functional with other departments to understand and manage requirements, configuration and testing in coordination with the subject-matter experts for the respective module. 

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Workday system. 

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, user guides, and training materials. 

  • Stay up-to-date with Workday updates and new features, and implement them as appropriate. 

  • Manage the relationship with the external agency to ensure they are utilised cost effectively and deliver high quality services. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field. 

  • Proven hands-on experience with Workday configuration and in managing Workday modules and implementations. 

  • Workday certifications (Fundamentals/Advanced) for various modules, business processes, reporting or comparable. 

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, best practices in Workday and interfaces with other tools. 

  • First experience in leadership and passionate about team management and development. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
