Financial Analyst

• Prepare and Analyse: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports and analysis, connecting with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Support Financial Close: Take an active role in month-end and year-end closing activities, gaining exposure to various financial processes.

• Drive Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that affect the entire organization.

• Liaise with Auditors: Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and act as a point of contact for external auditors.

• Manage Payments: Ensure payments are reviewed and authorized according to internal controls.

• Lead Projects: Work on cross-functional projects, audits, and other finance-related tasks, with a focus on adding value to the business.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimal 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or controlling.

• Excel Mastery: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage complex data and analyses.

• ERP Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems and consolidation programs. Experience with SAP is a plus.

• Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus, enabling you to present financial data clearly and effectively.

• Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes.

• Storytelling with Numbers: Ability to explain complex financial information in simple, clear language to non-financial colleagues.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and good to fluent German. English is a plus.

• Problem-Solving: You are proactive, flexible, and able to resolve issues quickly and accurately.

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis.
