Your Tasks

As the Director of Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for Operational Purchasing, Supply Planning, and Demand Planning. You will oversee the logistics network in the Netherlands and Germany and report directly to the COO. Your main tasks will include:

  • Continuous optimization of supply chain processes from demand management to disposition to goods receipt.

  • Detailed demand planning with a short- to medium-term planning horizon, created in close collaboration with Sales & Marketing and Controlling. The goal is to develop an inventory and availability-optimized call-off planning for suppliers (manufacturers and wholesalers).

  • Optimization and continuous development of processes, procedures, and tools to improve the purchasing and supplier management workflow and achieve synergies.

  • Managing and developing your team (currently 20 employees) and expanding collaboration with key external and internal business partners.

Your Profile

You have a degree in a business-related field, possibly with additional qualifications (pharmaceutical, technical), and several years of professional experience in disposition/SCM in a trading company in the pharmaceutical, chemical, FMCG, or food industries. Additionally, you impress us with the following qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in designing and implementing processes along the supply chain in collaboration with various company departments.

  • Strong process orientation and solid knowledge of SAP and other relevant ERP systems.

  • Ideally, you have experience in interface optimization and harmonization within the framework of SAP S/4HANA implementations.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and implementation strength, with which you drive production and process optimizations and implement efficiency improvements.

  • Authentic leadership qualities and experience in building, assembling, and developing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, which you have successfully demonstrated in an agile environment.

  • Very good MS Excel skills for independent data analysis, extraction, and manipulation.

  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
