At DocMorris, professional development is not a fixed ladder; it is a skills path shaped by keeping to mutual agreements, meaningful conversations, and the space to take on new responsibilities through shared ownership. Bella Bohlen’s journey is a powerful example of how growth happens when we align our individual ambitions with our agile ways of working.

Growing from within
All storiesFrom customer service to project manager: Bella’s story of evolving through shared ownership
Starting with conversations that matter
Bella began her journey as a Customer Service Agent in the RX Subscription (Abo) team, where she supported new customers during their introduction to our services. From the very beginning, she was eager to expand her scope and deepen her understanding of how the company works.
As Bella explains: “I was motivated by the desire to take on new challenges and learn more about different processes within the company. I wanted to deepen my understanding, take on more responsibility, and broaden my experience.”

Encouragement that opened a door
A few months into her role, Bella’s manager encouraged her to apply for a new opportunity as Coach within the same team.
The transition reflected something fundamental about growth at DocMorris: development is actively supported, not just encouraged in theory.
Reflecting on the experience, Bella shares:
“The process was well-organised, and that really helped. I felt supported every step of the way.”
As a Coach, she guided service providers, helped improve performance, and contributed to automation projects. It was a shift in perspective, still close to the customer experience, but with broader responsibility and impact.
Embracing a new challenge in AI service automation
Recently, Bella took another step forward, evolving her skills path as Project Manager in AI Service Automation. Her journey demonstrates that growth at DocMorris rarely follows a straight line; it adapts and builds on familiar foundations while opening entirely new horizons. This agile way of evolving allows our teams to stay reliable while exploring new technologies.
For Bella, communication and open listening played a decisive role in every transition:
“Only by communicating openly can you receive help and support. Talking about your goals can open doors.”

Growing together
Bella’s story highlights what internal mobility looks like in practice: guidance from management, transparent processes, and the open listening needed to express ambitions freely.
At DocMorris, we believe in listening, empowering, and creating space for people to evolve, just as Bella continues to do.
