From prescription management to process design
All storiesAmelie evolution at DocMorris
In her early stages at DocMorris, Amelie was in direct contact with the core needs of the healthcare sector. Reviewing dosages and ensuring legal compliance gave her a privileged view of the service's critical touchpoints. During this time, she worked on the front lines of the operation, ensuring every prescription was flawless; Whenever something didn’t quite add up, she and her colleagues worked directly with doctors to resolve clinical doubts or correct errors.

That technical expertise eventually became the fuel that pushed her to take the next step. Having been a key part of the Order Management team for some time, Amelie's role as Specialist Pharma Operations has now shifted toward strategy and internal optimization. Her journey demonstrates how deep operational knowledge is the essential starting point for designing the processes of the future.
A move driven by the desire to contribute
What motivated Amelie to seek a new position wasn't just change for the sake of it—it was the desire to channel everything she had learned into designing new workflows. Now, she works "behind the scenes," analyzing how we can be more agile and precise.
Currently, the focus of her and the team is on:
Analyzing and enhancing current processes, always striving for efficiency.
Overseeing marketing communications, such as newsletters, to ensure every word meets strict legal requirements.
"I wanted to actively contribute to the design of what we do. My new role requires much more self-organization, and it was a challenge I was incredibly eager to take on," describes Amelie.
The transition: the value of a team
Fear of change often stems from uncertainty, but Amelie experienced a process that was fluid and, above all, human. Her new team went above and beyond to make her feel welcome, giving her the space and time to settle in and understand the new dynamics without unnecessary pressure.
Reflecting on the move, Amelie notes: "It was very nice; my new team gave me a very warm welcome. I gained insight into the other areas of work and got the time to acclimatise."
This mutual support made the internal transition simple and transparent. It was all about leveraging her existing knowledge and projecting it onto new areas of responsibility.
